Organization of the fight against malaria.
Malaria control efforts in the DRC are managed by the PNLP, established by Ministerial Order No. 1250/CAB/MIN/SP/008/1998 of July 22, 1998.
This project involves implementing mechanisms to pool malaria data across these platforms, enabling the integration—ideally in real time—of data streams from multiple applications or external connected device systems.
At the national level, the Directorate comprises eight divisions; within each division are the departments and sections listed below.
- National Director
- Deputy National Director
- Head of the Administrative and Financial Division
- All 8 Divisions report to the management
- Each Division includes services organized by theme
- Each Service includes the officers in charge of the different themes
The Mission
The mission entrusted to the PNLP is “to develop and implement strategies ensuring that all inhabitants of the DRC have access to effective malaria control interventions at an affordable cost, thereby reducing the socio-economic losses attributable to this endemic disease.”

The Mandate
Its mandate is to define the general policy for malaria control, facilitate partnerships with other public and private sectors, plan and coordinate malaria control activities, and advocate for the “Roll Back Malaria” initiative to ensure ownership by various partners and the mobilization of resources necessary for implementation.
