DHIS2
DHIS2 is open-source software most commonly used as a Health Information System (HIS). Today, DHIS2 is the most widely used HIS platform in the world, deployed in 73 countries—including the Democratic Republic of the Congo—and covering a population of approximately 2.4 billion people. When including NGO-supported programs, DHIS2 is used in over 100 countries.
The development of the DHIS2 software is an international collaboration managed by the HISP Centre at the University of Oslo (UiO). HISP is a global network comprising 17 national and regional organizations that provide ongoing support to ministries and local officials in the implementation of DHIS2.
